For Streamlined Delivery of Long Form Program Schedule Information

CoreDirect Will Become Conduit to TMS’ Program Promotion Services

Fairfield, NJ and Chicago, IL, September 10, 2012 — In October, CoreMedia Systems, Inc. and Tribune Media Services (TMS) will integrate their systems so that users of CoreDirect can send long form direct response television program schedule information electronically to TMS for automated input of the data.

TMS is the leading provider of TV listings for local, cable, satellite and digital channels. With the new link to CoreDirect, buyers of long form DRTV programs can more easily take advantage of TMS’ Program Promotion Services, an exclusive process that replaces generic “Paid Programming” descriptions with descriptive promotional titles in TV listings. Long form media, or infomercials, consist of TV airings of 30 minutes or more.

Once long form airings have been trafficked in CoreDirect, users launch the process which transfers show codes, station names, airdates and airtimes directly to TMS’ file transfer protocol site. TMS ensures that the information is added to the TV listings that appear in on-screen, online and print program guides used by millions of consumers to decide what to watch.
